Keep On Running

Howdy peeps. I had a good weekend. A private goal has been to get out more little by little (which I already do a lot) but to specifically see more cultural events and museums (Mexico City is the 3rd in the world I think for museums)? I went to a museum with my ladyfriend and later in the night went to a classical music and guitar concert with my housemates – both very cool.

I’ve been having some interesting emotions and feelings lately because over the last week I’ve ran ~22km along with my normal walking. I had missed running and have been enjoying it dearly. I’ve been making a point to eat more to avoid getting headaches, fatigue, and bad moods – I’ve been through this many times before since I’ve been an incredibly active person throughout my life. This is a great motivator to get my sleep/diet/etc. in line because when it’s not… it sucks.

Without giving it much pressure, I’ve been toying with the idea of another half marathon [~21km] this year (or beginning of next year)… but before that, I want to keep working out my logistics of running (diet, routes, schedule, etc.). I’m still very low mileage to make too big of plans, but I’m happy. This week, I have some admin stuff to work on.—
