Big Actions

What’s up folks. I’ve had a crazy and awesome last couple of weeks. I’m doing better. I took a journey, and I learned a lot from it. The gist rather is that I have all the answers in me at this moment, so I need to take great action. In realizing this… here’s what I’ve done over the past couple of weeks.

In summary

  • Threw my last big house party before I move and to say goodbye to some friends who will be leaving
  • Finished my Spanish school – not returning to focus on residency and get more real-world Spanish experience
  • Started working with a company to help me with residency
  • Started individual therapy this past Monday
  • Signed up for coaching
  • Still seeing ladyfriend… we opened up and had a good conversation the other day, so we decided to continue seeing each other

💥Actions

🇲🇽Spanish

  • Spanish school: finished school and final exams – 86% overall
  • Daily practice: restarting since focus was final exams
  • Dance: continuing with 2x/wk class until I move mid-March

⚕️Diet/Exercise/Sleep

  • Food: worse - but will be better once I move into my next place
  • Exercise: n/a
  • Walking: last week: 82k steps or ~ 61km
  • Sleep: sleeping good!

❤️‍🔥Dates/Relationships

  • Apps: n/a – indefinite hiatus; inactive
  • Dates: Ladyfriend and maybe Fetlife date (1st ever and she opened me!)
  • Sexual Health: still feeling asexual overall but more relaxed with it – Ladyfriend has been supportive and it’s allowed us to connect in different ways
  • Relationship: Nothing official, still seeing ladyfriend – we have connected a lot more deeply lately after opening up and being vulnerable with each other. I said I was going to end things with her but we talked deeply for a few hours after having an awesome all-day date of walking, ice skating, etc. Bottom line: we both haven’t been relaxed nor open/honest and are still hurt coming out of some previous relationships. I realized all the “things wrong with her” were really wrong with me – hence why I’m going to therapy to work through them. In this moment, I think that we have great potential to be positive influences in each other’s lives… she’s very positive and supportive (and if she’s negative she’s responsive to me softly calling her out on that)

🔧Self-Development

  • Course: continuing finishing the course and weekly accountability meetings with a best friend about them
  • Coaching: helped my friend get a few dates when otherwise he’s had none – he’s been super happy with that; working on his style/outfits next
