Reviving This Log

In conjunction with my new focus for this year, I am reviving this log. It will be a more a mental dump and a place for me to work out my thoughts/emotions. I’ll better specify my plan in this post, so I can keep myself guided.

Bottom line: writing like this with feedback/support really helped me a lot. I would be stupid to not use this to keep progressing.

GOAL

Build a resilient mindset to mitigate the instabilities of life and mitigate their effects. Those cannot be stopped, but I can be stronger.

VISION

For myself, increased:

  • charisma
  • mitigation of instability
  • be a better man than I am
  • comfort with the discomfort of the future

WHY

I must prevail

Last year made me realize how unprepared I was for any big issues in my life. This is a practical need for me: What do I do when I have no home, job, transportation, and very few meaningful friends?

HOW

  • Godpill: idea – what does that mean to me? a true belief or only a means to strengthen my mind? does it matter regardless if I get the result that I desire?
  • Reframing most things/everything into positivity
  • Maintenance of sleep+diet+exercise trifecta
  • Micro-meditations
    • Journaling
    • Shadow Work
    • Social interaction/connectedness: Spanish is key for this if I want to stay out of the US and this ties me more to the local community and culture
