Another Quick Update

Busy weekend bartending yesterday, today, and tomorrow. I ran out of time again, but I’ll keep this brief again to maintain the habit.
WINS:
- Bartending: getting better, making drinks, doing opening/closing… still a lot, but I’m getting it. My supervisor told me that she thinks I am a fast learned (and here I thought I was slow – goes to show you our thoughts don’t always line up with reality)
- Fitness: back into it after sleeping better. I don’t do my weight in/fat caliper until tomorrow, but today is the most shredded that I’ve looked in a while. 6-pack Abs (lightly tho still there), big shoulders, chest, etc… I was mirin’ myself a lot. Feels good to look good. My face is starting to look a lot more masculine as well (which a lot of friends have told me before too)
- Mindset: overall, my mindset has been a lot better… I’ve meditated and journaled more. This has helped.
- Funny rejection story later – need to upload the screenshot for maximum cringe/laughter
LOSS:
- I normally don’t do a “loss(es)” list, but my brand new bike got stripped from my place. I live in an old house that was turned into apartment units a little aways from downtown, and I kept my bike in the basement/crawl space under the house (and locked to a support beam). I live in the back. Some bastard figured out to go to my place, go to the backyard, go to the basement, and took my wheels, lights, and bags off and just left me with a frame. I’m pretty upset with it considering this is my only transportation… I don’t have room in my studio, but once I get it re-done, I’ll make room and keep it inside. Kinda a bummer, but I guarantee whoever stole my shit is worse off than I am. Although pissed, I’m blessed, and I have enough money to get me more than a bike frame.
