Back To Better

Goal: Less words equals greater action

I have been tired, exhausted, and nervous about the new job over the past few days; however, I feel a lot better today. I do not have any solid “wins”, but good things:

  • I had a really great experience working with last night’s bartender. He was a former truck driver, so I appreciated his perspective on doing his best but not stressing to be perfect (great effort generally means great results). He and I both still have a lot to learn about bartending, but I got a lot of good drink experience last night.
  • Good sleep last night… I feel rested the first time after a week of shit sleep. I slept almost 9.5 hrs
  • Going to the gym shortly
  • Working again tonight on the food line – speaking of which, I get free food leftovers or meals (tacos, curry, salmon tartare, orecchiette pasta, etc.)… very nice
  • Reading more about photography from my NatGeo book – solid intro so far

When I am not working this weekend, I am absolutely resting and doing nothing. In the meantime, I will keep working hard!
