Chugging Along

Goal: Less words equals greater action

No big points this go around – still feeling good and kicking ass.

WINS:

  • Desk job: Working some hours and getting paid
  • Weekend: Trip with friend to go hiking
  • Dating: No effort on my part. A lot of friends have recommended getting on Facebook Dating eventually, but this app is hidden (blocked?) for my account. Facebook sucks. I am still “working” on taking more pictures of myself to get ready for this. I am not in a rush to jump on these apps [like I was earlier out of desperation/insecurity/hurt]. Stabilizing my mindset has been more important (and I know getting on these apps will be a challenge for my mindset).
  • Friend’s Dating Apps: I have been working the Tinder and Bumble of a friend to “practice”. I have got him a few matches and set him up with 2 dates this week since getting his accounts from last weekend. I consider this a cool win.
  • Mindset: Better sleep, exercise, and journaling/meditation have helped a lot. Overall, I have felt really good this week even with a couple of upsets and bad nights of sleep.
  • Guitar: This always challenges me, and I always tell myself that I will never be good enough to make music. I keep pushing through and practicing everyday – I woke up this morning to play and practice out of excitement.
  • Exercise: Gets its own bullet… I have been enjoying the weather and fitness
  • Today’s Run: ran 3 miles, muscle cramp/walk it out 0.7 miles, and then said fuck it and ran another 4.5 miles
    • Weekly Stats:
      • Walk/Paseos: 12.7 miles
      • Run/Carreras: 18.2 miles
      • Bike/Recorridos: 30.9 miles
